1. How many classrooms are there?
We will be operating program at six sites:
PS 27 Hillery Park Elementary (73 Pawnee Pkwy, Buffalo, NY 14210)
PS 54 George E. Blackman (2358 Main St, Buffalo, NY 14214)
PS 90 (59A) School 90 (50 A Street 14211)
PS 93 Southside Elementary (430 Southside Parkway, Buffalo, NY 14210)
PS 94 West Hertel Academy (489 Hertel Ave, Buffalo, NY 14207)
PS 99 Stanley Makowski ECC (1095 Jefferson Ave, Buffalo, NY 14208)
2. How old do children need to be?
Children enrolling at any of the six sites must be 3 years old to attend.
3. Will transportation be provided?
At this time caregivers must provide transportation to and from school. Neither BPS nor Say Yes are able to provide transportation at this time.
4. How do I qualify?
a. At this time, all families must be eligible for or receiving a daycare subsidy from Erie County Department of Social Services.
b. You must also live within the boundaries of Buffalo Public Schools.
5. Does my child need to be potty trained? What about during naps?
All children must be potty trained or in the process of being potty trained. Caregivers will fill out a form so that teachers are aware of each child’s potty-training needs.
6. I have DSS Subsidy but my family share payment is high, do you have scholarships?
Yes, we have need based scholarships. Caregivers will not be directly charged for programming.
